Why are there two dates?
Different regions and store pages are showing different dates. The Japanese announcement says Steam pre-orders run until October 23 at 00:59 (JST), while the US PlayStation listing shows an October 22 at 04:00 (UTC) unlock. Official pages don’t explain these differences as one global timezone rule, so don’t apply the Japanese date to players everywhere — and don’t treat the North American date as a promise for every region.
How to double-check before you buy
Open the official store page for your region first, then look at the pre-order deadline and the release date the store actually shows. Dates can still shift before launch, and price, edition contents and demo scope each have their own page.
