FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE Characters: Story Roster, Villains & Visions
Rain, Lasswell, Fina and Veritas of the Dark lead the FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE story; Cloud and other legends appear as crossover Visions, not party members.

Official material currently confirms a small story roster, and no full playable list has been released — so the characters below are organized by their confirmed role, not by guesswork. They come from FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS: this game draws on that game’s first story arc and rebuilds it as a console-quality RPG. Square Enix’s materials confirm Rain, Lasswell, Fina, Veritas of the Dark, and an unnamed woman traveling with Bahamut.
Story core
- Rain — a knight of the Grandshelt kingdom, commander of its sky fleet, and the protagonist.
- Lasswell — Rain’s childhood friend and the sky fleet’s vice-commander.
- Fina — emerges from the Earth Crystal with no memory beyond her name, and can communicate with espers.
- Veritas of the Dark — destroyed the Earth Crystal and plots to destroy the rest; Square Enix places them among the Sworn Six of Paladia.
- Unnamed woman — official character profiles keep her name as a question mark; don’t fill it in with a community label.
Crossover characters & Visions
Cloud, Tidus, Warrior of Light and other classic characters are presented in a Visions/crossover context. Visions are part of the equipment and ability system — they are not main party members. Square Enix hasn’t released a full playable roster, per-character join conditions, or final-game party-switching rules, and there’s no official tier list either. Characters such as Charlotte, Leah and Tronn, who show up in Vision material, are likewise presented as Visions so far, not as confirmed permanent party members.
