Out now since October 22, 2026, so these are live prices, not pre-order estimates.

Short version: buy Standard if you only want the game, go Deluxe if you want the digital extras and soundtrack, and only consider the Collector’s Edition if you want physical collectibles.

North American suggested prices are US$49.99 / US$59.99 / US$209.99, and Japan lists ¥7,678 / ¥9,878 / ¥25,500 tax included.

What the extra money buys

EditionNorth AmericaJapan (tax incl.)What it adds
StandardUS$49.99¥7,678The game
Digital DeluxeUS$59.99¥9,878Digital bonus pack
Collector’s EditionUS$209.99¥25,500Physical standard game + Deluxe upgrade code + physical collectibles

Watch how the Collector’s Edition is put together: it is a physical standard game plus a Deluxe upgrade code plus collectibles, not one self-contained Deluxe box. There is also a separate Goods Box at US$150 that does not include the game or the upgrade code — do not confuse the two when reading store listings. The Japanese product page lists the Collector’s Edition contents as acrylic blocks of Rain’s group, Bahamut and Gilgamesh, a pixel-art book. All 120 soundtrack tracks and an FFTCG promo card.

Why these are “suggested” prices

Final prices differ by region and store, and tax and promotions move the number. A store page showing “from US$49.99” is a starting price, and Xbox’s “from $49.99” is not a tax-inclusive total either. There is no lowest-price guarantee here. And stock and sale windows are not something we can confirm.

Check these four things before you pay

Open your regional store page and go down the list: currency, whether tax is included, the edition name (don’t mistake the Goods Box for the Collector’s Edition), and whether a launch discount or promotion is live. Once those four line up, the price won’t surprise you.

Platform differences are covered in Release date, and the Switch compatibility limits in Platforms & demo.
